Talk about buses. Nothing then a few come along....
To Thorney, If your system is lighter than the Akrapovic, I assume then it is made of titanium? Also, any chance of seeing some pictures of one fitted to a car? Shimmy, your pal at evolve sounds interesting too. Best Jonathan

it will be interesting to see if any power or weight gains on both systems(if evolve ever do it)
i auite like the idea of a double centre exhaust for the CSL but i guess the cost of the diffuser is gonna put the prices sky high?

No, still steel, wont use titanium due to potential to crack on race cars (not saying akra will crack but titanium race exhausts have a propensity to do so generally). The pictures willnexplain why it's so light, there is nothing to it really and cat is lighter. Rear diffuser is £400 but whole system including diffuser is over £1200 cheaper than akra I think, not worked out final price.

Good luck Bealo - If your locale is anything like mine, I hope you keep the motor garaged matey...
The Pikeys in my neck of the woods would have that away in seconds if they knew it was made of titanium.. ![]() There's been 7 regular E46 M3 bumpers lifted within about 7 streets in the last couple of months.... Who the fook is buying them all ?? (Although there has been a sharp increase in sightings of Nova's with BMW bumpers and Impreza bonnet vents of late ![]() |

Sports cats first then see how they do, then hopefully full systems. I will be removing my back box soon, so I will weigh it, see how light it is. |

I take it you are talking e46 here John and not your e9*? It will be interesting to see. I toyed about with the centre exit system, losing weight from the back and running centre boxes to quieten it down, I stopped experimenting when I was going to sell. The only trouble I see is noise, it sounded awesome but too loud. Would have been a problem with the trackday posse. |

Been measured at 98db at Donington, but will ship with a special extension to bring it down to 95db. I won't deny it's been made for performance and noise so it ain't quiet
