I hope as years go by we don't see here more "what is the best trickle charger ?" threads then " what is the best track setup ? " ones here. Which is what happened in the E30 M3 community in the last few years.

Sadly Clubber

CSL is heading down the same route as the E30.

It maybe a few years off but the writing's on the wall.

Don't worry though, there's still a good contingent on here who are Track Day fans.

Hi all,

Was directed to this forum from a member on cutters. I'm looking to purchase a CSL in the new year. I know its a while away yet, but it took me four months to find my E46 M3, so thought I'd start early!

If anyone is thinking of selling around then, please do let me know, or keep me in mind in thenew year!

One quick question, I looked at the car at Barteltt's when I took the E46 for a service back in March/April time and thought it was a good price at £31k, however, they now appear to all be priced aroudn £40k+. Am I likely to be able to find a car around £35k, or have I missed the boat on that one?

If it was more like February then that is the car I bought (70k miles, AP brakes front and rear). Rubbish advert, great car. I haven't seen one for a similar price since. It would take at least £40k to prise it from my hands, there are no alternatives at this price point.

Awesome. I'll look forward to bending over to the tune of £40k in the new year then...

Bounce - where are you in Cornwall? I'm originally from St. Ives, moved away a while ago but my family are still down that way.

That is only my price, but I am not selling. If you can find somebody who wants to sell I bet you will find one for low £30k's. Keep your ear to the ground and be quick. I had an E46 M3 cabriolet before this. The difference is astounding. Even compared to my friends M3 coupe it is night and day. Get the first good one you find.
