Problem is that everyone with the search button knows what you got it for

IMHO that's mostly irrelevant as just maybe the previous owner was desperate to jump ship so SOLD it cheap to achieve his main objective.
Also CSL prices are shifting upwards as numbers dwindle and demand outstrips supply
There's no harm in DC trying his luck @ £23,995 OVNO first ... it's not as if he's desperate to sell.

That's what I was thinking

I would say 20k prices haven't gone up that much recently except for the odd person trying it asking for too much

It's about time we started asking silly prices, look what is being asked for an old piece of pork.

I'm amazed 20k is flying around! A cat D front end car just sold for £17k. And that needed new wings, bonnet, airbox etc etc. and a cat D!

Personally 25-26k.

I could strip it and make 20k easily

I would say with having the AP's brakes all round, and it looks to be in excellent condition I would start at £24-25K, You can always drop it if need be, Remember we are coming into spring, and interest always starts to rise at this time of year.

I'm with mr sagman on that, £24,995 looks good to me.
Whether you get that is another matter, but anything approaching it would go someway into compensating you for; all the time, effort and expense that you've put into car.

Best of Luck!

I sold a mint black one for £19k

You can get 50k car for £30k, I wouldn't pay no where near £26k for a 120k miler.
