Yes mines already been there . It's just rolled over to 108k. I've only owned since December 12 but other than a seatbelt tensioner and a Pre cat lambna sensor. It's been fine.
A week after I purchased and after a Indy inspection (clean bill of health) I decided to jack the car up and check for myself. Low and behold offside front crack and nearside rear subframe chassis cracks that I discovered.
Cut a long story short BMW Knights did the subframe repair free under warranty but had the car for 5 weeks. I hand the 6 bushes replaced and now the car feels a lot better.
So the 100k club still can be very rewarding indeed.
Condition and service history is more important than milage

this does scare me. unfortunately I'm without warranty and although the subframe looks good from the boot I've not had the subframe lowered for a proper inspection yet. Otherwise, my experience is the same.. Needed diff seals for the German MOT but apart from that all good - don't around 20k in just over a year lol. I reckon I can get 200k out of this bad boy (work pays fuel :p)

I'm getting mine injected and strengthened next month Hoshy, will let you know I get on. There are no cracks at present but coming out of warranty soon so want to keep it that way!

Yeah please do. I asked bmw to do the resin but they refused as the fix was dated only for pre-2002 cars or something like that... and it's pretty much impossible to reason with germans and finding independents seems just as impossible. I'm hoping to get something sorted when I move to munich - Frankfurt BMW haven't impressed me particularly.

It's a lot easier to reason with them, when you know what your rights are, pm sent. They're probably giving you the run around (Bl__dy Foreigner)
They have to undertake the fix at a much reduced rate, it's labourious and time consuming so there's no money in it for them.
That explains the reluctance with most dealerships, not just those in Germany.

Now at 111,000 miles, just had oil service at Munich, no issues, 36,000 in my ownership, still used daily, all weathers, still makes me smile EVERYTIME I drive her and I still look back at her when I get out after a drive.

The best car that I've had, my plan is to have the highest mileage CSL out there... these things need to be enjoyed as often as possible.
