With R888's there is no need to take them to the track and have a jack to change etc etc, they are road legal. Change them at the house before hand and drive to the track. Cups are good, but not really for all year round use, with our weather and greasy roads, lets be honest. That's why BMW had you sign a disclaimer when buying a new CSL with them fitted. That's why I thought I would keep the 19's with road tyres and have a set of track tyres, therefore the best of both! Due to the nature of the tread pattern on the R888's they should last a little longer than the Cups too, and the price is also a contributory factor!!

P.S. -Thanks for the B'day greeting Mark, trying to forget them now, counting backwards! Lol.

Cups are fine for getting to and from track.

You just have to be careful with standing water so makes Cups difficult if you drive it daily.

The car was built for them don't forget.
