I remember thinking it smelt a bit odd when the price was reduced from 59k, to to 45k. Thats a real cheek trying it on here. The VIN should be listed.
Now the owner has probably devalued the car more than if they had just been honnest. |

VIN is WBSBL96020JC98522 He spouted a load of hot air to me that his lawyers would be speaking to NJ the following day (after calling NJ a few colourful names, he went from being a perfectly amicable nice chap on the phone to irate and abusive about NJ and the garage who caught him out very quickly). Funnily enough its been over a week and NJ hasn't heard a thing I don't believe and his number is plenty accessible online. The guy chats chocolate and is trying it on. See below:
Note the chassis number is partly visible and matched the V5. The BMW Group sticker looks pretty much brand new, none factory welds, the job report sheet which was mentioned, the HUGE crack.... I'd love to hear his defence for this and how he maintains it is none accident damaged.... Last edited by TerribleExpert; 29-05-2018 at 03:20 PM. |

I agreed to buy this car last week and left a deposit to confirm the purchase. Luckily for me, the power of social media prevailed, numerous parties contacted me suggesting this car is a lemon and the seller and garage should not be trusted. I have now walked away and my deposit has been refunded. Facts: George at Technosport told me numerous times that the car had never been tracked and to the best of his knowledge, never been involved in an accident. He also stated that the sub-frame had been checked recently and only a small hairline crack was found, which was subsequently repaired. Amit (the seller) categorically denies that the car has been involved in an accident and has also suggested that he has initiated legal proceedings against a particular dealer for lying and passing on totally fictitious photos. I do believe the report is for the same car, the VIN number matches the photos that I took only last week. I suggest that any person looking to purchase this car should carry out a thorough independent inspection to ensure they know what they are buying. Back on the hunt for another CSL.... |

It is also interesting that scrubberamit was last seen online on this forum yesterday at 6.28pm according to the forum stats....yet no comment.
Obviously I escaped without much financial cost, just my time and fuel, as did the chap below. However its the principle of it and its just so wrong. Amit, genuinely, just come clean. I think the case has been proven that your lying, just drop the act and admit it. People will at least respect you more than they do now. If you genuinely are moving abroad then you need to move the car on, the car is pretty well known now I'd say judging by the amount of views this thread has received so just do the right thing, be open, honest and you'll find yourself in a better position to find a buyer. Maybe I'm just a dreamer but treat people how you'd like to be treated (or better still) and you won't often go far wrong. That principle has done me well in business. |
