Some people use DS2500 for road, and then swap onto pagids for track days depends how many miles you do - I'd just sell them on cutters where they think ds2500 is a track pad

The pads that come with the Kits - Do they usually come in AP packaging with AP markings on the backs of the pads? I can't find anywhere where it says Ferrodo DS2500 but those are the pads I was told I'd be getting with the standard kits...

you wont be disappointed. Keep the pads for road or just as spares, they dont take long to change

I use the DS2500s on the road and just change to RS29 for track. 30 minute job to swap them over.
