Why would you want any car to be a garage queen, use them and abuse them allways more fun

This was my car! The original advert was to see what sort of reaction I would get and the phone rang within 30secs of the advert going live. The bloke wanted to see it immediately...long story short, he paid deposit and took later that evening paid in cash. The advert was true on my part, but the subsequent advert was not entirely true....unless of court the visible rust (scuttle) was dealt with (doubtful). The steering wheel was originally an airbag version changed for the 3 spoke and all the spares that went with it were not added with the exception of new number plates.

I had the car since 1999 and for about 5yrs was a daily runner, but insurance changed to Cherished and limited miles, so I had to garage it when not in use. Lost the use of the garage and it sat out the back of the house not really going anywhere. It just had to go. I knew all about the silliness in the pricing of these cars and some on the said websites were far better in condition than mine. I set an amount I wanted and got it. Job done. I couldn't be asked to advertise at some silly cost and hanging around the house showing all and sundry, test drives bla bla...left that to someone who can be bothered.

Weight off my shoulders - I wish any new owners best wishes on the car, I enjoyed it.

Even though I immediately removed the at from PH, the phone didn't stop ringing asking who I sold it too and they all seemed to know who it was and of course all of them would have paid the same money....they were all speculators, looking for a bargain.

The M3 was a second car! I have been driving an E46 325ci for a couple of years now - Have been with BMW since 1995 after being a Ford nut before then!

Yep.

So long as it is what it is advertised as, still has the correct head and isn't rotten as a pear underneath......
