Hi,

Button always goes better when
his ''Ali G' Team Mate is not running,
as Button obviously gets the
full ''Team's'' attention.

Whitmarsh for all his PR skills has the
problem that his Number 2 is
coming back to his best as his Number 1
has darkening issues.

Part of Hamiltons problems seem to have
stemed from the departure of his Father as
his manager.

Di Resta fell on his feet there, big time.

I also thought that Colin Edwards drive in the
MotoGP to come third, in those conditions, having had Surgery only
8 days previously for a Broken Collar Bone which
was pinned and his Ribs, which had got spread
in the ''off'' was just utter fucking balls out.

He might speak a funny English but respect to the
Yank for that performance, just awesome, as they
say.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

I disagree about button, i picked him to win on Saturday when i saw the forcast on the off chance that it would be a drying track.

He is at his very best when a precise, measured and accurate drive is needed and with the wet lines and lack of grip in places, his style made the most of the grip available.

I dont think the team favour anyone on the day as they have two seperate teams effectively (although granted sometimes Button does get given the Alternate Plan B Race Plan

Hi,

Shimmy- Button is super smooth for sure, but
squeezing the Team No 1 into the wall was
almost as clever as the last two laps of sitting
on the Red Bull's 'blown' Diffuser.

Vetel like all the Germans that have ever raced
in F1, don't like it up em.

Its that Bavarian Mist thing, you must have experinced it at
the Ring, and Button when he got right there, got right on
it.

Ever since the Alonso days, Ron Dennis has made
it pretty clear that 'Ali G' is No. 1.

Dennis knows that Ali G has issues, thats why he is
making his stance in the Pits, he feels he needs
to be there for his 'Boy'.

People forget that Button was almost without a
drive in F1 when Mercedes purchased Brawn Racing.
He was not exactly Head Hunted.

I have always been a big fan of Button, but prefer
a Racer in F1, Senna, was best, but the likes
of Jean Alesi, Giles Villenue, etc would make the
hairs, Primate has many, tingle, which Button, even
with all the drama of yesterday does not quite do.

Villenue in 1979, only a Racer would stand on it
like he does entering the last lap, its just not
in the Mindset of the Technical Drivers like
Prost ala Button.

Regards,

The Gorilla

I do like Vettel a lot, he's a really nice guy (in a non German way)

I met him at Budapest Airport after one of his first races when he was employed by Williams but racing with someone else. He jumped out of the back of the Williams transit in his shorts and plimsoles and headed for the departures whereas everybody else in the F1 world was straight into the Private Terminal behind smoked glass.

He chatted to us all in the check in queue and looked very at home.

He reminds me of Stoner in MotoGP, good racer but better driver when left alone.
