That's a massive price difference, hopefully more towards the lower end

The fear of upsetting anyone on here precludes me from giving any names away,everyone sees the job as they see it and quotes accordingly, but i take your point, Murketts quoted me £1,153 + vodka and tonic, that included Anti-freeze,Cyl head gasket and head bolts.

thats a good price for bmw

Simpsons did mine and i sepnt around £2k but the HG part cost me about £1k as i did loads of other bits at the same time.

YOur price will depend quite heavily on the damage to the head and valves obviously
