An M5 is a great car. Got blown away by one on the m6 toll south recently.
On my return trip north, whilst cruising along I saw what I thought was another m5 approaching so got ready for a roll on speed run. However it was some rep in a 525d in his little shirt and tie with his coat hung up in the back.
The m5 is too similar looking to the other 5 series. Drove an m5 touring last week. very quick but felt like I have had driving gloves on and be listening to radio 4 ......................

All depends really. If I get the mrs up the duff in the near future would like an M5. If not a GT3 sounds like fun.

Also considered buying a fun round around (Clio sport etc) for commuting,a diesel Pick up, a trailer and a bike engined Westfield. That way I cover all the bases, sensible, practical, fun, track work etc. Just not figured out how it will all fit in my driveway yet!

Though part of me likes the idea of keeping the CSL until I am an old man as I think it will always be fun!

Surely it would be your other halves responsibility to ferry the offspring around. You've done your bit, make 1 sacrifice and you'll be on the slippery slope into Vectra estate land and buying clothes from Primark.....
