By the way, any idea on how difficult it would be to import a Genuine M3 CSL to the States ? has any one done it ? or at least tried ?

Hmmm... there are lots of White BMW about but most M cars in the South West US seem to be Silver, Black, Blue or Red...

im sure its possible to import one here in fact, one of the BMW dealers by my office claims to have seen an authentic SG CSL in there shop. they verified the numbers as well as taken pictures of a fully operational CSL intake flap. but, from what i was told.. the car CANT legally be driven or registered. if it were ever to be involved in an accident it would be crushed

perhaps import a CSL here and just change out the VIN?? anycase, no insurance company here will every insure a real CSL.

Yes I got the email confirmation about 10 minutes ago - Cheers for all your help with getting the tool and switching the warranty over!!

I haven't installed the tool yet, going to try and do this this afternoon if my phones will stop ringing!! Looking forward to using it!

If it's for personnal use for a short period I think you can import it - 12 months max though.

Nearly took my Elise years ago, worth doing especially if your company is paying for relocation.
