Rich, the left tires are for my GT3, they are 305 per 19, the right one is the my front Csl tire in 235 the 2 front Cups in N0 and N1 I have (in the same size 235) are different too between the one's for Csl and GT3 (I'll make a pic tonight) whatever is said, N0/N1/N+ are different tires and done for different type of car and setup's. for the bags, I got these on internet, they are around 10£ per pair and you can store 15" to 20" the 305/30/19 goes just good, the 325/30/19 is the limit. pics tonight of the 235 per 19 in N0 and N1

cheers shimmy & Dave - do you know how the compounds on the N0 & N1 compare to the cup for the csl?
As in, would you run a n0 front and a standard cup on the back? Cheers Rich |

Here are the differences between a N0 and N1
the cups for Csl's top and the cup for GT3 below, both in 235 (photos taken at same distance from tires) No match, can't compare. ![]() ![]() general view ![]() For what's been told by Bmw and Porsche or even Michelin, each type of cup's has been specialy studied and developped for the Csl and the GT3 and even the M3 V8 for the Cup+, so the difference en compound and tires stuctures at not there just for the look of run.

the two tyres are Cup and Cup+ and this Cup+ happens to be porsche approved hence N0.
Cup rubber compounds are complicated with different rubber in different areas allowing different wear rates and grip, allowing also outside rubber to wear to the chord but still work. Cup+ is similar to PS2 rubber and with the grooves it is better suited to standing water and cold conditions. More road compiant Production tyres that have passed all of the tests and received the engineering department's release can be branded with an N-specification. The N-specification brandings include: N-0 (N-zero), N-1, N-2, N-3 or N-4. These markings on a tyre's sidewall clearly identify them as approved by Porsche for their vehicles. The N-0 marking is assigned to the first approved version of a tyre design. As that design is refined externally or internally, the later significant evolutions will result in a new generation of the tyre to be branded with N-1, N-2, N-3, etc., in succession. When a completely new tyre design is approved, it receives the N-0 branding and the succession begins again |
