It was up for £27k . Obviously didnt sell for that, then the vendor put it up for £24500, and got his hand bitten off, but i reckon it probably needed work

Trouble with these cars, is if you want a decent price you have to be patient enough to hold out for a few months without lookin your nerve.

No M5 punching a big hole for me, just a small 1M and I had 165 on the gps with about 178 on the dial, but Leins was still pulling away slightly, he must have had higher octane fuel (is my excuse ayway...)

High octane fuel shouldn't make that much difference but a bigger pair of danglers would

Nope, Bart was acting "navigator" (AKA bar-man for the two of us). That was Topaz upholding the CSL honour against the 1M! It was all a Cointreau-induced blur for me, although I do seem to recall being upset that he didn't really push it on a bit more (despite the impending corner)
