As I said it's a debate that could go on forever. I personally believe that it was money well spent and will help to prolong my cars body work for years to come, as well as making it look great.
The price is debateable but I guess you could have the same argument on brake kit's AP's, Alcons, Hi-spec etc. It's all down to choice and how much you are willing to spend - recommendations (as I'm sure very few people would have tried more than 2 options). You could go for a cheaper alternative and if your happy with that then excellent. Just thought ye might be interested in seeing my car after the detail. Elitedetailing did a 10 hour round trip to get to my car. I wonder how much people will spend on new shiny carbon bits on the group buy thread. I know my name will be on it. |

Will say though £700 for 2 days work...good if you can get it.....may have to give this detailing thing a go at that price.

Now that would be an interesting conversation with the other half....Love I have a chap coming down to clean the car for two days I'm just taking £700 out of the account to pay him.........Ummmmm.
Would have to agree though your car does look the nuts and he has done a fantastic job. |

Just buy her a pair of Jimmy Choo's she'll forget all about the price of the detailing.
Or just lie through your teeth |

excellent work carried out on the car,
as a future classic, if not already a one, i wonder if the detail extends to other areas of the CSLs, like the engine bay or the underneath, will we see a CSL in such events as concours. Or do most owners use their cars for track days, just curious
