£65 per month - that sounds like a bargain!

I'm sure mine was >£100 per month with a £100 excess

They need to update the policy documentation if that is the case.

The previous owner was paying £77/mth (£100 excess). The new price has gone up to £79/mth (still £100 excess). I was going to go with the £79 option, but decided to increase the excess to £250 to give a lower monthly of £64.85. So basically - £15mth cheaper to increase the excess by £150.

This is for the comprehensive cover.

Anyone know why my new policy is >£100 month then?

Is it because it's higher for the first year?

If so, after month 13 will it drop on monthly DD or am I stuck on the higher figure, 'cos I cannot alter the policy without getting penalised for being over 60k miles?

Typical, us newbies not only have to pay more to get into a CSL but then have to pay more for the warranty on top!

Should have bought one in 2008 instead of the RS6!

You will pay more for a lapsed warranty,I don't know if it will go down next year for you being on direct debit,it does go down when you pay annually. You will have to give them a ring.
