Matt,
thanks for your take on all things square
your cesil looks mint with the black wheels....front end looks even sharper with the black rims....oh christ! i've now got a spare set of rims so post munich i'll refurb in black....your bbk really stands out...loving it!!

I run a square 19" rears all round (albeit) E46 M3 19" rears which are the same size & off set as the CSL rears but a little heavier. It lasted less than 8 months and I'm now back to OEM 19" CSL set up with full PHAT CUPs and 12 mm H&R spacers @ the front + 10 mm H&R spacers @ the back. For me this combination is sweet as a nut

Oh No !!! Look what I've done now !!! Oh well ... here's a few more pix for Satin Black wheel inspiration
Yeah the Red BREMBO BBK really stood out against the black wheel but I just prefer the "Sleeper" OEM look with cheeky spacers

That's what I do now Jim. Also well covered for any puncture issues on the road, front or rear.

'Optimum' The best or most favorable condition, the greatest amount or degree possible under specific sets of comparable circumstances, you had to ask Jimbo

My understanding is that the CSL was developed on a track, specifically the 'Ring', however as most normal roads bare little or no resemblance to that, what we have is a compromise in the interests of general usability.

What was your outcome in the end?

Do you run 19" rears all round all the time or only on special occasions?
