Cant imagine the black ones being rusty actually - with them being in at BMW all the time for repairs.

Mine does that on the wheels after washing even with the standard brakes!

Mine too... Before and after APs.

If you have the time just let the car sit for 30 mins after a wash, or slowly drive the car forwards backwards to get rid most of it as it's easier to remove before being 'dried on' at speed!

You could get a blower from a garden store and dry them with one of them...if you're COMPLETELY ANAL like some of the guys on that 'detailing world' Forum!!!

I was reading a post the other morning about a boy who bought an ASTRA VXR Nurburgring edition (ooooooh, can you tell I'm being Cynical...is that the right word???) brand new, spend ages checking it over, as you do with a new car it is after all alot of money, but this guy got a paint depth gauge out and everything! Anyone wanna link or shall I not bore you to complete death.

I mean, respect to 1cosmicboy's efforts for getting the car from the state it was in to how she's looking these days but who buys a BRAND NEW CAR then spends 3 months detailing it???

Anyway, gotta love these Black and Silver Grey jokes, crack me up big time!
