And to gregorjp, yes traction on WILL over heat your discs,
Imagine driving down the road and constantly applyng braking, it builds heat very quickly in your brakes. Traction off is far better for brake longevity. |

Speaking as someone who rear ended his previous e46 M3 into a barrier on a straight road in icy conditions when the traction was (heroically) off, I now prefer to leave mine on to compensate for my incompetence.

RS29's for me also with the AP's. No squealing either.
But oddly I have RS29's on the GT3 too and they squeal like a bitch.

I've used DS2500 on track and never had an issue, even hammering the brakes at the end of the straight at Spa on a pretty warm day, no fading, no vibration. I have to admit that they do wear quickly.
