Sorry, I forgot, we don't want a sensible comparison of where prices are, just to show that the only ones for sale are very expensive so we can all keep talking prices up.
Here are the current cars on AT. £87k 16k miles £70k 19k miles £68k 17.5k miles £67k 34.5k miles I am sure when some of the more 'normal' mileage cars are back on the market we will see the prices back at £40k. MC |

The question was of course "what can you get one for?" and the answer to that is currently a very definitive £45k. Mine and some of the other 100,000 milers are obviously worth less if Matt's wont sell for that at the moment, but mine isn't for sale. Whether or not they're "worth" this money, you'd have to put way more on the table to convince someone not selling to part with their beloved car. Circumstances change but with such few cars available, it's possible all the ones with the right mileages are with the right people -the high are with the users, the lows are with the collectors. I'm planning many a trip to fully use mine this year
I think the days of the £3x,xxx CSL have now gone, unless of course it is a Cat C/D. We shall see. Maybe there will be another global shitstorm and all of our cars with be bartered for bread rations by September...

Garage queens are not for me. I think Matt's car is lovely but it is probably too hard for me. I want OEM suspension not Powerflex. Just a personal preference but every Powerflex car I have driven on the road is wonderfully direct but transmits all the road imperfections. For me I think the standard CSL is good enough for the road. |

CSL suspension is actually quite harsh anyway, so I don't think you will notice the addition of the Powerflex bushes.

I agree. At least give it a go. Like I tell my 6 year old, you can't say you don't like it if you haven't tried it.
For me the CSL is about being raw and good communication, probably a good thing. MC |

With all due respect SSS... how would you know Powerflex RTAB & antiroll bar bushes have made my CSL harsher than OEM set up ? The fact is ( this is based on my actual, personal experience of both OE & Powerflex RTAB back to back) there is no difference in road feel or manners... my only reason for fitting Powerflex RTAB bushes... the "Black serious" ones, which are superior quality to the bubble gum purple crap Powerflex sell to boy racers, was longevity & consistent reliability as the OEM ones are of poor design and deteriorate very quickly through corrosion as they are made of cheep rubber & aluminium which oxidises, expands and spits the rubber inner out about every 3 years or 30K miles. My CSL has had 3 set of OEM RTAB (changed under warranty) and I just got fed up having to put another inferior OEM RTAB. Further more, if you think stock CSL is smooth and comfortable on the commute you Sir are very much mistaken and might want to consider the softer option, a stock E46 M3 with heated leather and softer suspension As for my Cecil... I personally think the real problem for you is it's way too clean for your planed usage... as you've already indicated you like them dirty & hanging and mine is the solar opposite of what you're after BTW isn't time you've introduced yourself ? We won't bite
