The last one I saw advertised with over 100K was MV53 KSZ, Silver Grey, 106,000mls, 4 owners, priced @ £18,975, for sale by Dave Fox Prestige Cars in Staffordshire.
Far more realistic IMO, and priced to sell with a deal to be done at £18.5.

I don't get it? Do these cars spontaneously combust at 100,000+ miles or something?

Is it straight? Is it properly serviced? Is it looked after? Does it have a clean history? Does it drive ok?

If all the above check out I couldn't care about mileage unless I'm looking at an investment.

This seems to be a very common British misconception regarding the 100K milestone. I don't get it either
Just look at the cars For Sale on Mobile.de... mileage doesn't seem to matter as much as condition and the length of TUV

quote from nick johnson-

15500 Miles and a 14500 Mile car due it tomorrow I currently have an ex MunichLegends car with 15500 miles in totally stunning condition all original paint with paint gauge confirmation and also a 14500 mile car coming tomorrow also in Silver Grey. Just thought I'd pop them on here and let you guys know about em.
Pictures on website. I also have an amazing 68k car with better history than most CSL's.

now nick see's a lot of csl's, and how i read that is that he see's a lot of miss used low milage csl's with poor history. the 68k car looks mint, and tbo 68k one a csl is not a lot of miles for a 10 year old car. it seems the uk is obsessed with low mileage and not condition/history. look at gt3's, ferrari's ect there milages are all around the same! it seems some owners who enjoy and look after there cars have no choice but to trim mileages every year, just so they don't get stuck with them! look at europe and mileages are A LOT higher, and its not because they get used more!!!

seems a lot would rather a low MILEAGE cat D, than a-
excellent service history and 68k seems daft to me

I would say dream world but you've got to be realistic. That's why I've bought mine at 107k. As it said - a value csl
It's a mint car, very tidy and looked after with full BMW history. Just had a new clutch too. It has signs of use but I won't do many miles in it. Well 100 this weekend showing my mates. I was a bit shocked at 18 mpg though lol. I love it !
