We obviously all think they're just about the best thing going unless the budget is well and truly blown, but interested to know what's sparking all the current interest in them. Is it all just coincidence, or the amount of attention the press seem to have given the CSL in the last year, or something else?

Anyway, best of luck in the search. You won't regret it, even though I am biased
I've always had CSLs on my radar as well and circumstances have just resulted in me being in the position to buy. Looks like it's the worst timing ever!

Your not expected to get into any bidding wars, what you are is forewarned that other people are currently looking. We far too civilised to condone such antics on the register, no gazumping is acceptable as I'm not selling.

However the Questor's are having a positive effect on the cars currently for advertised for sale from an owners perspective that is, as the prices of good examples are gradually continuing to rise, as they approach their 10th Birthday. Imagine what they will be worth in another 10, E30 Evo money with that in mind, now is definitely the time to buy.

As I said "Good luck with the Quest" and no salesroom fisticuffs

No bidding wars please.

I intend to employ the "Jesus - what's that over there?!" *digs through pockets for credit card* approach.

I am one of the guys on the hunt and I am pleased to say rather than being a bidding war, I have received a lot of information and passed on information about cars on sale to many of my fellow 'questers'.

Good luck with your search

yeah I was only joking -

Thats the beauty of these forums, bringing likeminded people together in 'quests' of all sorts - whether its sourcing better brakes or buying a car or planning a route in France.

Please dont forget - if anyone in the SE would be so kind as to show me over their P&J I'd be most grateful!!

Cheers

I can vouch for this - you get first dibs on anything for doing all the research and passing it on to me!
