I think it depends how badly someone wants to sell the car.
If not, then you can raise the prices

All cars over here in Ireland are really cheap now, so much so we have guys coming over from the UK buying all the interesting metal for peanuts.

I don't think I would be able to sell the CSL here, it would have to go back to the UK or Europe.

As long as guys aren't desperate to sell, they should price their cars very strongly. I know when I was looking it was hard to find one that ticked all the boxes and I would have happily paid an extra few grand to buy the right car if I had to.

It's true.

I've been searching for the right car for a good few months now. I was thinking of getting a standard E46 M3 because I know the cars and was the relatively easy option for me. However the proces of M3's here on the continent are still holding very strongly in comparison to UK and Irish cars. I know it's the market that dictates the prices but when I see about a €5k - 6k difference in the cost of your average M3 between France and Ireland, it's hard to justify getting a left hooker out here.

But it seems to be the way with most cars (regardless of the marque), prices on the continent seem to be holding their value much better than in the UK and Ireland.

As for CSL prices, well that's a whole different level
