Im finding this now, after [pootling] around for the first couple of trackdays my standard brakes are now not good enough,at Snett a few weeks ago i was having trouble stopping after a couple of lapsSo i am going BBK as my next mod, even if its just on the front to start with.

Front is enough Brett then throw some uprated pads in the rear for good measure

One of the reasons for not putting on AP's is that as the car has only done 19k miles (and i paid the price for that), i have a hunch it will devalue it cos people will think its done 19k track miles. could be wrong!!!
Take them off and back to standard come resale time

I have done alot of miles and high speed stops with the r32 which is a fairly heavy car and the yellowstuff pads have been fine no judder no loss of brakes at all each to their own i guess,I also used them on my 306 track car with no problems.

I know Simpsons are the kiddies, but is there anyone nearer to Surrey. It may even be a quick fix to standard as i have no time off over the next few weeks

Quick hijack here as nobody answered my last post on this. Yes, it is probably a stupid question but I have APs all round but the braided hoses are only on the front calipers. Is this correct or has somebody taken a shortcut??

Rear kit uses the original hoses. You can buy a set of rear Goodridge braided hoses and replace the OEM ones. AP don't supply braided rear hoses just the banjos

I would go BBk / APs now...

I have std discs and RS29's all round..fine for me to date , as I've been a pootler over the last year

(though getting there slowly...)

STEVE was having trouble with them after a couple of laps at Snett though...

I need to change the pads and the carpet in the footwell
