At least I've contributed to the cost of hoasting all my silly questions on this forum though

Nonsense - my CSL was my first M3, my first ever RWD car, and the first car i ever took on a race track - and that was at the Ring!

Nope, you must have me confused with someone else... had my e46 M3 almost a year now and done the ring and silverstone in it.. also had a 3.0ltr e36 M3 before that with no traction and took that round brands at a good pace
