Thanks everyone! It's a shame that the work will be happening around 100 miles away so no regular photos sorry, I will try to keep updated though

Hi Gorilla,

The plan is for the car to be built to group a spec and gain it's FIA HTP as the cars are now becoming eligible for classic le mans etc.

I would be very intrested to see what you have, what are your plans for the shell? Would you be able to post/send some pics please??

How about retrofitting the S54 [ M3 CSL lump ] into the Old girl, complete with the C.F. air box and the 6 Speed Manual gearbox out of a regular E46 M3 ?

There's already several dedicated E9 CS/CSL forums mate but they are more than welcome to join in here i'm sure!

We could have an 'Original CSL' area on here perhaps?
