As others have said, I doubt the track itself is in danger. For one thing, the major manufacturers have invested too much there for it to be shut down.
Tourists days may well rise in price (again) though, but this could have the positive impact of flushing out the noobs and clearing the traffic a little. I hope so anyway! Now that I work out of London, I'm aiming to make several visits to the Ring, so the fucking place better be open!
