If it's not gonna be back by the trip, then I reckon I will still be in the GTR (hopefully)

Or there is a new scirocco R as second choice ;-)

To be honest, even if it's back, will still need running in ( well dependant on what / how serious it is ) and if I still have it, might as well take advantage of it

Mine's got the head off with no compression on 1 and 2, hope you've got a warranty with no mods on car.

Warranty yes and no mods as mines standard as far as I know
