I'm disgusted with the aftersales support from the selling dealer. My local dealer, were, in contrast fighting my corner, although it took a days worth of paperwork collating before AUC would approve it. |

That's exactly how BMW dealers make me feel .I had quite a long conversation with BMW UK about it .The dealers must lose them so many car sales. I stopped buying BM's for 9 years through last times experiences. One more spat with the dealers again ,and mine will be gone aswell . The CSL is mint and I love it , but the customer service is diabolical.

Well after 3 weeks I've got the car back....
It required a little leverage to get te desired outcome - but all is well now. Work done on the car included the following :- 1) New clutch (flywheel ok) 2) New rear diff 3) New power steering pipes (leaking) 4) New gearbox switches (apparently intermittent fault with the SMG Got the car back and its much much better. Seamless gearchanges and no funny twanging noise from the rear on full lock. Just to cap things off........ - I curbed the offside alloy parking the car - god that annoys me sooooooooooo much. Will need it refurbing soon. - the garage in question failed to send off my V5 until 10 days ago So....... out came the pen and paper, and a snotty letter went to the managing director of Sytner......... End result £200 compensation Anyway....... I'm going to keep the car a little while longer - its had £8k worth of work/parts (including prep work) so it should last a bit before anything expensive goes wrong again (keeping fingers crossed !). |
