Awesome looking machine! I bet it sounds fantastic with those side exit exhausts!
Don't listen to Mark (csl_mba) about the spoiler, he doesn't have a clue and is only a 'guest' here... I think he used to own a CSL at some point - allegedly...

the engine was in the standard position (no back move), but the dampers were modified to cope with the weight of the engine.
with a standard front axle, there was only understeering at high speed/corner.....and with the right front axle, it was great. it was also a road car , so i sold it after a new law in france, where policemen could now take your car and sell it (and keep the money) if it isn't as registered (no modification allowed or possible). it had a 3.91 final ration with 80% lsd. quick as a rabbit doing things with his female. quarter mile in 13.1 (with traction prob at low gear ), and a 1000 m (0.6 mile in 23.6 seconds), it was as quick as a csl from 0 to 140 mile/hour. miss it !! please let me know when sell something, i can send a message on the french M3 E30 message board. some over pictures: some of my friends: |

Hi,
More pics of the S54 E30 M3, and a couple of the RHD E30 M3 S50B32/ 6 speed which I have just sold to a chap in Hong Kong. 7.77 - I will get back to you on the DTM Parts, as the car is currently running Z3M Couple rear arms, much larger rear bearings and larger rear hubs, which have been strengthend, and have had the coilover pickup moved upto the top, and the diff has been raised 40mm within the rear axle, so as to improve the Ramp angle etc. I will be in touch with you. Regards, The Gorilla. |
