I thought your car was remapped Duncan?

A limited one will show 170 odd on the dials, mine was unlimited from the factory and got to about 180 on the clocks before I decided it was a bit dangerous and it was still accelerating, though slowly, can't see them going much above a real 170-175 though as said.

_Nathan_ - I had the remap taken off my car, and left with it being delimited.

The difference the remap made wasn't enough to justify the warranty concerns in my eyes.

GPS 174mph is about right for them.

if your mileage is 50k i would get injectors cleaned and coil packs replaced and see

Garage hooked up their computer and saw a voltage decline on a couple of cylinders at low revs - at high revs everything was fine.

I'll start with the coils and move them around to see if that's causing the issue.

Just put injector cleaner in the fuel see if that helps too, probably going to need them 'micro-cleaned' ? Big job ?

What are the revs at at this point at 40mph in 6th?

It may be just slight clutch judder?

If it is a car which has been driven hard on track, your differing driving style ie driving like miss daisy pfff 40mph in 6th( joke), may just be giving the clutch something else to think about maybe

Rick
i seem to remember injectors were about £170 for all cleaned. Thye were already out for the head work.

you could try one coil and replace all one by one and see if it makes a difference (easy job)

if it works replace all six just in case

The engine shudders quite badly if you keep your foot down but as soon as it starts 'missing' just lifting off and back on again sorts it out. In higher revs/lower gear it's fine. Does anyone else's do this at all ? (I must of just got use to it - but don't drive like this very often )

The fact that it's temporaily dropping the voltage on the same cylinder each time suggests its the coil on it way out ?

Do you reckon all 6 will need replacing then ? Or is this just a safety precaution.

Anyone else had them replaced ?
