Well didn't really have a choice with colour or trim - it was a super special deal to clear stock by the dealer (cheapest I've ever paid for a M3 product).

Well mine kept breaking down and it started to royally piss me off, so I got rid of it.

Nice work! Be interested in your comments on how you find it compared to the CSL.

Nice one. Great car. Glad I was wrong with the X5M/X6M idea!

How does the black look, orange peel wise?

Well, I am certainly enjoying having all sorts of creature comforts and technology at the touch of a button (Nav, TV, 10 speaker sound system, parking sensors, electrict fold mirror, headlight assistance ect ect) - this car is simply loaded with technology and gizzmos - it's almost mind boggling. I am still reading through the manual to find out how to operate everything!!

First thing you notice however with the E92 M3 is how heavy the car is (and how solid it feels) and how light the steering is. The car is designed to be lot more usable than the E46 M3 generations (CSL included) for sure.

I will give a full review and comparison with the CSL when the car is fully run in (2000km) ... time to get driving I think

No surprise that you've mentioned the orange peel. It's almost ridiculous to be honest. I personally don't mind it, but all new BMWs seem to have a ridiculous amount of orange peel in its paint system now. I've been told that it's due to the more environmentally friendly paint that BMW uses to paint their cars.
