Being the owner of what must be one of the most highly modified Minis ( let alone a GP ) there is, I'm well aware of what difference a few changes can make.

The good thing on a CSL is there isn't much that needs doing whereas on a Mini it's a case of "where do I start"

By the way, you do know resistance is futile?
Thought you might have given in and gone on track yesterday with vic's old car.

Noooooo.

TBH I don't have the urge to get on a track, yet!!

The GP was modified to make it track ready, so to speak. I work away and have spent the last 14 yrs or so never being at home so thought to myself turn it into a car that for when I do have more time it can spend hours on a track.

Now I have the time I just don't fancy it.

One day possibly.

Once you take these cars on the track you will love it, the feedback they give you is unreal so makes driving them easier

Pops. Don't forget if you want to keep the car original when you decide to sell you will need to fit cups.

Resistance is futile. Get them fitted.

Never a truer word said. Especially on cups.

Brakes, cups & then a track day. Resistance is futile Pops.

Thats true there is only a few things to do to make it better.

I bet the mini must have been fun tho, must drive like a go kart.

It's on the raw side and great to drive.

Nowhere near the capabilities of a csl (apart from handling ) but it's entertaining
