Thanks, think i will wait, anything i do car related goes wrong, dont want to wreck that with the wool lol. Il try something more soft and give it a good go, dont know why ive suddenly become obsessed with getting them shiny though lol

Ah another shiney pipes thread....love it .....I wouldn't use wire wool on the outside. Mine where very bad when I got the car so used a metal polish/tcut and a lots of car polish polish, plus lots of elbow grease. For the inside a light sand paper does the trick. Had one of those sand paper blocks which just fitted inside. You then keep turning it until all shiney.... And then you have shiney pipes

you missed that bit of wax on the bumper tho,n the second picture ,just above the pipes in the crevase .lol.and you should be able to se ur reflection on the inside of the pipes too . tut tut very sloppy

well... ive just finished doing them now, took a while, cant get a good picture but they do look better than they did, the inside was a bugger to do though, looks no where as good as andys lol, i did find i was going mad though, curled up on the floor cleaning the inside of my exhausts with a tooth brush.....

I used WD40 and a rough pad (think theyre called scouring pads for cleaning pots), to do the outside, and wire wool for the inside.
