That is fantastic Alex!!!! Exactly what I need!!

Intention was to make the thing out of carbon with a replica "M3 CSL
insert in some sort of alloy perhaps.

One question thought ... the height you have it as 18.5mm on the right hand side ... but when you add the figures together on the left hand side 6mm+4.5mm+6mm = 16.5mm?? I am presuming perhaps one of those numbers should be 5.5mm or 7mm even??

I presume the OEM item is so heavy perhaps due to it being made out of stainless steel rather than alloy?

It is corrected now.
Pay attention that the side is curbed so the 18.5mm is including the curve while at the edge (without the curve in the middle of the side part) is 18mm.

I don't think it's stainless steel. It's damaged too easy to be stainless steel. I could be wrong of course.
