hope it drives better ( steering wise) than the normal F30's .
I have about 10x more steering feel in my 7 series than the wife's F30 , and the 7 is hardly a drivers car Mind you, I think the steering on the CSL lacks feel compared to older Porsches |

Is it confirmed that there will be a CSL version? If so, I would be inclined to stick an order in straight away and worry later about how to pay for it. Based on the spec and the looks, I'm already in love.

1.25bar max boost pressure is very conservative...
It should be quite easy to get it to 480bhp. The interior is also very nice. |

Hi,
It would seem that there going to run the Twin Turbo's at different speeds so as to combat any lag. Over the years many have learnt that if you run as large a Turbo/s as possible at really low pressure then you can almost do away with lag so long as the Turbo spindles and oiling are up to it, and with revearse pattern Cams on a Turbo Engine filling up the cylinders you should get a fairly quick responsive engine, even though it has dual huffers. Would much rather the CSL version if there is one is sent to Weight Watchers for the shedding of another 150 Kgs, and the S55 twin huffer engine is tossed out and a S65 engine with a Flat Plane Crank, C/R upped to 12.5, electric steering pump, lighter Flywheel, was slid in its place with circa a genuine 430/440 bhp from the std 72.5mm stroke. All these under square engines, being designed to grunt is not the way to build 'fun' sports cars. Regards, The Gorilla. |
