It looks like it has been in an accident - the shut lines (particularly the front of the bonnet), are just shocking. Doesn't befit a £20k Ford, let alone a £50k BMW. I hope that is a prototype, because if not quality control needs revisiting.

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .

I am quite disappointed, like for the major part of recent BMWs...

I have been a huge fan of the brand, but I don't like the direction it has taken.

The fact that they call it an M4 is a lack of respect for their heritage.

Plus the car is too big and the design is too "heavy" and complicated. Look at the front bumber design and the rear is even uglier.

My M3 CSL might be my last BMW. :-/

Perhaps an 'M' too many! Where are they taking their styling cues from Toyota?
Not for me I'm afraid, if that's the future direction of BMW, it's a very sad day!

Just received this in the Mail, an invite to view:

"HOLD YOUR BREATH AND COUNT TO FOUR.

THE NEW BMW 4 SERIES COUPÉ. ARRIVES 5 OCTOBER 2013.

The anticipation is mounting, for this is more than just a new model. The new BMW 4 Series Coupé is a brand new expression of the mid-range coupé and it will soon be on the road, attracting admiring glances and leaving desire in its wake. Bla, Bla, Bla"

Its meant to be much lighter than an e92.

And if we believed so strongly in heritage, then we would never advance. Things move on, legislation changes, targets have to be met.

Ill either buy one or I wont, but it certainly wont worry me either way.

+1 never been a fan of the ' don't make em like they used too ' brigade either

Car looks good as will be the drive, loving the 991 GT3 like mad too and the Porsche bores on the forums hate it .. No mez engine
, no manual etc etc FFS !!

Shane is spot on in that things move on, it's called progress !!
