Shimmy, I've had mine redone 3 times and they still aren't right. I gave up with the fitters, it's still on, doing a job, but not the best fitting.
The shape does make it hard to do.

Wing mirrors don't take much punishment from stone chips, only corrosion, also easy to remove for respray so not worth it in my opinion.

Headlights, wings, front bumper, bonnet, front of roof and leading edge of rear arches definitely need doing to protect from stone chips.

You haven't seen my wing mirrors

I think this time around I wanna wrap the essentials as they are resprayed, as you say some areas worse than others but my wing mirrors are pretty stone chipped.

Got my spare bumper being sprayed and wrapped for next winter!

Driving down country lanes to dogging sites takes its toll on the paint work

More like driving on your bumper lap upon lap without you pulling over

Have a word with Nick Phelps at CG Performance in Tring. Also recommended by Jay @ Gleaming Kleen.

They look good.

I only got mirrors done whilst I was side sills, front bumper etc. Would not have bothered otherwise for it is not that expensive to repaint mirrors. And as I mentioned it is very difficult to get a single piece to cover the whole front.

heavy duty clingfilm for the May trip?
