Shimmy's master plan is to pull out of the May trip at the last minute, and get the value of his car increased by 2000 miles relative to the rest of us

Just thought I'd pull together a thread as it will be interesting to monitor reliability.
Congrats Good to know they don't self distract @ exactly 100 000 miles, like some would have us believe
100K miles is still average mileage for a 10 year old car. Mines some 13 000 miles away from that magic number

34.9 mpg - you can't have been going fast enough to have clocked up any real mileage since 2003 ;-)

Bought mine Oct 2012 with 77k, now at 86k. So I should go over 100k in 9 months time. Used every day and love every second.

I want to keep her for at least 5 years so I should get her up to 170k...residual value will be hit but my smile 'o' meter will be fully topped up!

I would not worry how many miles a CSL has on it , I bet if you break that car in 5 years time with 170000 + on it you would still get your money back in bits , the parts will be rare in 5 years time as they are now but will command more money

It's gonna take me a while at the current rate of use but I've never been worried about mileage. Mine gets everything it needs and more. Doesn't feel any different to the day I had it @27k miles.

Had a lovely drive in her over the Black Mountains Easter weekend. First drive for 4 months! Sad really but does make every drive an occasion. I forget how good a nailed down car feels. Makes my M135i feel like a jelly!
