Once you have had a decent set up on a car, oem stuff just isn't up to the grade..... so flex that card and get some AP's, as shim says, you won't look back....

Salzburg is a long way to go, but the way I see it I am never going to be on track with 50 csl's, bmw instructors, and heidi in the background. It has to be done

I wouldn't buy AP's anyway. Loads if people have problems with them. Am I right in thinking they have no dust seals ? Yes they prob are the best when working 100% but can't justify them.

Questmead are normally the place, but I find Demon Tweeks are the cheapest at the moment, you need to get pricing from the right people. Some of the staff say there is no movement, when there is.

They have always matched and more often than not beaten other quotes.

imo, an' I've said it before, ap are great etc but standard with RS29/lines/fluid is great also and manageable. Intrax would get my dosh before ap. I have standard suspension but would say the difference to Intrax is greater than the difference to ap/ standard with rs29's.

wheels speaketh sense plus your tyres will wear down more evenly, and thus last longer

Formula road kit has dust seals etc, only ever had 1 issue which AP resolved FOC even when the calipers where 2 years old ! weve used them on numerous race cars with no issues, all the BTCC cars we supply run them as part of the NGTC spec and no issues, just a good allround caliper.

I thought I'd opened a can of worms when I said I didn't rate AP's lol. Not slagging them just don't fancy them.

Thorney do a drive in drive out pagid rs29 all round with fluids £580. But I could do it myself. Good price but wasted if going for BBK
