Spotted these - can’t tell what it is but I have a feeling that it must perhaps be the Porsche part also.

Nice day so thought I’d have some fun,, passenger side drive shaft out ready to repack outside cv joint , but this one was such a pig to get out,Had to take arm off , so while it off clean things up. Pop in new bearing and fit new discs covers, all good fun have to say,not easy to get the things out...... on the subject drive shafts cv etc,, these shafts have covered 70k and do have some play now , any of you chaps fitted new shafts , and did you notice any difference?? as in did the things/car feel tighter in the driving feel !!!

While the trailing arm is off, what’s the view on the arms rubber bushes,,std or something different aftermarket,??? the std ones really are quite soft , these on mine are about four years old, and are ok condition really. I’m going to fit new ones anyway, But possibly open to aftermarket what’s your views chaps

If of any interest to diy’s this I found the best way to pull the drive flange hub out of bearings 5x 100 mm bolts. 17mm heads ,they fit perfectly to draw out and split the bearing. Yep bmw tool better but not got one.. then immersion heaters box spanner then perfect fit to draw out rest of bearing out of the trailing arm housing ,
