I still reckon your toe is out.

You hardly used it in anger at spa, have you done any trackdays since coming back?. If not the soft spring and compression is out as you wont induce this on road, just looks like plain old toe incorrect to me.

Hello Mate

No not been out in anger much, got the ring in 2/3 weeks and ive had those new softer springs fitted ( morning of spa ), car felt better but still not perfect, so im having it checked out, bushes etc etc as it may be that one of them is worn, prior to that have done 3/4 hard ring trips and silverstone and coombe, so had a bit of a beating but no wear on tyres like that before, and I use the car daily as I always have

So will see what the guys come up with, going to reduce the camber a tad too also once im happy nothing is worn or gone

Your tyres must have been ok when they set it up the morning of spa. As you would hope when doing a geo, they would notice very severe uneven tyre wear. Its usually first thing they record, tread depth/pressures etc.

Evening Daz,

I just had a thought.... (I don't get many) I'm just wondering if they adjusted the ride height when installing the softer springs?
If that wheel was set a little lower wouldn't that alter the geo? Or maybe the spring sagged a little more on that side? It's late tho and I'm tired and have had an odd beer so I may be talking a right old load of cobblers?

My votes toe out. I've done this 2 or 3 times now (will I ever learn LOL) and the toe out was the problem - one recent example the tyres were perfect apart from down to the canvas like yours.

Not heard of Tankslappers suggestion before, so never considered that. But I did once drive 6 or 7 hours in Germany with Cups on and decent toe out, and when I got back from the trip the fronts were exactly like Daz's picture. I struggle to see how autobahn driving could result in this because of softer springs and too soft on bump - whereas toe out, effectively dragging the inside fronts along could definitely do it.

Been running a set up Raeder in germany did on the monday AM when I was late arriving at Spa on our big trip a month or so ago , running a fair bit of camber -3 which is a bit too much for the road !!

Lazy so never change it but still should be worn the same really I would of thought unless something is amiss

Car going down to a specialist next friday for a check up prior to Ring trip on Aug 6th, so just thought id see if anyone had any ideas

Only noticed by a mate as I was pulling out on full lock !!!

I meant to say I thought it was toe Aswell, I'm just wondering why one tyre was so much worse than the other? As you'd expect the tyres to scrub evenly with toe out
