I had to fix both exhaust clamps recently, just bought 4 of the standard flanges from bmw, cut 3 in half and welded them back together on the pipe then painted with high temp paint! Looks better than the after market clamps but does mean both parts of the exhaust need to be on the bench!

i had the same problem, so a frend of mine do this for me from the original clamps




now is nearly OEM.

That's a good solution to an annoying problem It's a pity BMW guys didn't think of designing it like that in the first place
Out of interest, which cutting method did your friend use to achieve this neat split ?

with a cnc milling machine in his factory.
