My shit box only just makes it IF you come straight off the motorway straight to testing don't let it cool down you have no chance
It does have some rasp as I have the SS un-resonated centre section - which I like personally. If you fit the resonated centre it practically eliminates rasp (AlexGTT has such a setup).

By far the biggest culprit of exhaust drone is the fitting of aftermarket 100 cell cats as I have experienced this firsthand.

My car is generally 100dB at track days and passes straight away so long as it is hot as you say.

Supersprint centre section has quietened the rasp a bit but i didn't realise when i bought the back box that it was gonna sound like it.
Go back to OEM (quiet whistle )

I forgot to mention that my set up is a little bit loud at 106dB, so not suitable for anything other than the likes of Snetterton or Silverstone . I have to fit the standard back-box back on if I want to go on any other track .

However, it DOES sound the bollocks - skip to 51s and crank up the speakers .

Adem

I have SS lwt race, res centre section and 100 cell cats and have never failed a static test or drive by test (except Zolder where I went past all the meters in 3rd )

I personally think the best set up is SS lwt race, OeM centre, and 100 cell cats (for the extra 5bhp)

Thanks shimmy
I would need to buy another centre section for that set up as mine has been cut and sleeved bummer.

Im running a catless, single exit system on mine. Should be fab'd end of month. Couple of inline silencers.

Loads lighter, just waiting to see the db levels.

High kerbs (in track) knock hell out of side exit exhausts
