Thats great news Daz, well done. Would love to do something like that myself, wouldn't we all but I feel missing half the seasons racing wouldn't really work in my, or my sponsors favour though!
Good luck with it, will try to get along to at least one of the races. Don't worry, I'll let you know so I can get 'VIP' treatment. Would loved to have come to Donington, however I've a mates stag do that weekend in Newcastle. So its a defo no-no. Are there not two racing at Donny though? I'll have to go check the calender! |

Assume Tom is doing the Kumho again in his e36? First race at Silverstone this weekend - be interesting to see how Stringfellow gets on in his e46.

I'm going to be doing the Kumho again this year and hoping to put in a reasonable performance. I looked at the CSLcup as an alternative venue but if I'm honest I enjoyed the Kumho last year and felt there was good competitive racing in an established championship. I've also got unfinished business in the Kumho as I don't think I got anything like the best out of my E36 last season and it didn't really make sense for me to get out of a car that I'm only just getting to grips with and sit myself in a whole new one (an E46).
So I chose not to build a car over the winter, but BMsport have an E46M3 that I could (or anyone else) hire if I wanted to run that in the CSL cup. It's a modified class car. If the grids are a decent size I'd be interested in doing the odd race this season . The Kumho has over 30 cars entered (paid up and running) for the first weekend this Saturday at Silverstone so the racing should be awesome. I know you are committed to the CSL cup but if the grids are small you should consider the Kumho as I am sure you could make your car competitive - a E46M3 won at Croft last season (Stringfellow as Nathan mentioned).
