![]() CSLs are designed for the track - pointless having one just as a garage queen ![]() At the last BMW car club track day at Snetterton, they had E36 / E46 M3 full on race-cars with slicks. The CSL scalped them all ![]() ![]()

Yeah like Nathan said, I can comfortably stay with some CSL's, most are a good battle, get the odd few like Shimmy, 83SY that are just silly quick
![]() I agree with Derek well sorted M3 you will be as capable for a lot less money and not worried about denting it. 2nd hand market is ridiculously busy for them right now |

Standard M3 with stripped interior, BBK and uprated suspension is going to be better on track than a stock CSL. Mod both cars to the same level, and the CSL will be better because it has more power and less weight to start with. And taking the piss out of Cutters is just part of the job description of any CSL owner ![]()

No double standards. Cutters are wrong, we (CSLR members) are right. Any subject, any statement. Easy ![]()

I wouldn't modify a CSL now, they are good enough out of the box on the track and worth more as standard.
If you really need to go faster on a track and not worry about the ever increasing value of a CSL, M3's are cheap enough to buy and modify. Would never sell the CSL though. |

Gayers.....it's just a car. I'd sell mine tomorrow of needed to. Luckily I've got three kids I can sell first before CSL has to go.
