Just a quick line to say thanks to everyone for making me feel at home when I gate crashed your garage. Great to meet you all but with the exception of Duncan I will never remember your names. Its your cars they are all in the same bl**dy colour. How about different coloured wheels to tell you apart. Had an enjoyable few laps in the white Z4, boy can the kra*t drive. Must bring the cups next time even if the forecast says rain. Thanks again.

Thanks for coming you guys - hope you all enjoyed it

Garaging was a tenner per car, but I'll let you off this time if you slipped through my net.

Novice stickers are a bad idea, I don't like using them at trackdays.

Moneywise, about a grand up on a £25k spend, thats before any expenses come out - so in reality a break even - which is a result, It could have been a lot worse!

See you all again soon
Nick

Why do you think that is Nick, I'm very courteous on track but even more so when I see a novice badge. It's also less frustrating if they don't notice you behind for half a lap. i.e. it wouldn't be worth reporting a novice but if they aren't and won't let you pass or can't because they are only concerned with whats in front then it would be worth reporting them for a quiet word.

Oh and that guy in the Masser owes me a car wash too (the car was filthy muddy before he went out on track, was like wacky races when my car got covered in mud, helped visibilty no end!), he was way too hot into the corners and that thing seemed to corner like a 4x4. He only moved over after getting two wheels on the grass at copse. That should have been a bit of a warning for him... Glad no one was hurt though

It's a pity you couldn't cut the Glasgow lads a better deal, but they had a good time all the same. I met them at Spa the day before and told them about Silverstone, they stopped in for a couple hours on their way back to Glasgow, what a drive!

The lady at the counter said garages were £10 and not per car we did ask. Happy to send over a tenner tho

Thanks for a great day Nick, and for arranging the sun in the afternoon.

He was driving beyond his and the Maser's limits a lot of the time... The others sharing his garage were of similar 'questionable' driving skills too (Audi RS4 & Supercharged CSL)
