Since picking the car up with 4.1 diff I went to Bedford GT on Sat. Martin track M3 sorted the diff, I got the 4.1 CWP from BMW and Adem fitted the diff. Still got all the AKG stuff to fit & H&R anti roll bars. Its stayed dry all day Ive not driven the car for 3 months since the last track day. I have to say the 4.1 diff is one of the best mods bang for buck, up there with decent coilovers and AP's. I have read about 1st and 2nd gear in a 4.1 useless but thats all crap, all I know is this thing pulls like a train and suited my driving style. I went with Dirty perv john in a standard M3, josh in a stripped out M3 and Shimmy, Shimmys got some footage folliwng me. Here are two video's, one just having some fun against track prept E9x M3, M5 and Rs4 and then my best lap of the day, was a 2.48 and held up about 3-4 seconds, theoretical best 2.44. Track wasn't grippy and a fine line between keeping it on the black stuff. Can easily go quicker as in the morning I was using my wet lines and in these vids tried to keep it nice and tight. I was driving about 85% of my ability and had loads in reserve. Managed to blister the rears, not sure if that was cutting the kerbs on the back chicane. Need some new tyres. Only mods car has is AP's, Intrax, Diff, pulleys, aero and bonnet which I got black flagged for a the bloody thing never wanted to stay down. My gopro ran out of space so used iphone was has a dodgy camera. Video 1 - with Ray as passenger |

great going Billy, it was really hard to stay in touch around a big chunk of the track, you were moving with some great pace, turning in very early and on certain corners, just pulling away.
occassionally you even drove on the track between the white lines there was nothing out there faster all day as far as I could make out, 7RS, E92 (with wings), GTR, Evos......all stayted nicely behind us. Poor old AMG Merc got some fade and ended straight lining the hairpin by the LPG tank and luckily found the mound rather than the gas tank!! My fastest was also a 2m48 which on the new layout i reckon is about equivalent to a 2m44 so we both were a little slower than best but loads of traffic and limited runs tbh plus a far to close a call with a tyre wall

Let's forget your quickest lap, track limits clearly not adhered to
Did you think you were on a palmer sport day ... |

Despite it being dry there wasn't a great amount of grip on some of the faster corners. I was pushing the car each lap to see what grip it had. First dry track day completed in over a year in the uk |
