I was looking at the Bell helmets. Any help appreciated.

I just wear an AGV motorcycle helmet, but car motorsport spoecific ones may be cooler/lighter to wear. The ring is probably the only place you don't have to wear one but I would strongly recommend you do.

I have just been glancing at the MLR forum, very quiet, and some of them were even saying how great the organisation was at Spa ! ... the only greats at Spa were the track when dry,the CSL's and their pilots , the Porky owning mates we have amongst us, oh and not forgetting those tricked up Fords !! ... oh yeah ...and my driving !!

Im easily pleased and not given to moaning and banging on about something, but THAT fooker was way over subscribed.

cheers dunc, nice to meet you even tho it was just before you left

Kin hell mate, I was pretty lucky then, I was well over a ton through a lot of Belgium and France. I did think about it on a couple of occasions and thought I should calm down but couldn't have the 997 GT3RS thinking I was

Well chaps, it's all over too soon again! Time flies and all that. Great weekend, despite my front left hand bumper being chopped off by a local scally a few miles from the Ring. Ah well, things happen. I actually blame Rob for dragging us all out for a tour of the local roads.

Many many thanks to Alexk and his friend for staying with me and getting it sorted. Only cosmetic damage and already been sorted by the insurance.New bumper solutions!!

Thanks to Mattcsl for the SG duct tape. Worked a treat and I was back out for loads of Ring laps and Spa. Stayed perfectly in place all the way home. I actually quite like the look now.

Spa was great..................once out on track. There were way too many cars this year. The waiting to get on track was rediculous.

The Evo "T bone" of the M3, happened right behind me! TWAT is all I have to say! If I was 10 seconds later out of the pits that was me. As mentioned earlier in the thread by my mate, he was in the 34 Skyline just behind! Great vid Alexk. Everyone on MLR needs to know the REAL story.

After seeing that, coming across the multi car crash at Ring and my little road tap I was ready to just sit in the bar and call it a day! Glad I didn't though.

Great to see everyone and meet new faces. Rob, Daz hope you got home OK and at a reasonable time. Sorry I had to dash with my mates on Tuesday morning. Catch up soon fellas.

Oh, one last thing.......................Wops GT3 RS Gen2................. There's not much I wouldn't do to own one.

I was lucky then as I stayed in Bruge after the Spa Trackday on Monday evening then fookin hammered the CSL to Calais the morning after, barely went below about 90 for 45 minutes! I was the other SG CSL at the Eurotunnel on Tuesday Daz when you turned up with Rob and Bealo, I waved but you wern't looking!

I saw the row of the VX220's and you and Bealo in the cue and wondered what was going on, shortly after that the short arse ginger wanker at customs still pulled me over and wanted to see my passport again and proceeded to ask uterlly (sp) stupid questions for 10 minutes which means I missed my earlier crossing that I'd planned, cunt!
