Default DSC & Brake Warning Lights

Evening all,

Driving back from Newcastle this afternoon and the Amber Lights for DSC & Brake Warning both activated and stayed on. Brake fluid level and pedal feel appears to be normal. Went through the owners manual but cannot find any reference to both lights being activated at the same time.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Grant

I would guess, its either a Wheel speed sensor[ABS] or Steering angle sensor.I had a WSS go and the same lights as yours came on.I would get it plugged in and find out.

Quite possibly - i currently have the same problem on my old E36 328 with the DSC light illuminating now and then recently. Jet-washing the wheels/hubs may help if it's just crap stuck somewhere.

Just had the car on the diagnostic checker and found the fault to be with the Steering Angle Sensor !! Booked in a week on Thursday for replacement.

Cheers.
